Direction & Parking Locations
Where to park once you have arrived
Street parking is reserved for residents, their guests and patrons of the local businesses. Remember, when we take away parking designated for their customers, guests and family, it gives a negative impression of Lake Avenue Church and Christians in general. Also, the Pasadena Police Department is actively ticketing those who are illegally parking in these designated areas.
Gateway Plaza Parking Structure
For Sunday morning services and large all-church events. A covered parking garage serviced every few minutes by shuttle (on Sunday mornings only) and within easy walking distance.
LAC Parking Lot
For first time guests/visitors, elderly, or physically-challenged individuals and for Saturday and Sunday night services.
Handicapped and Elderly Underground Parking
LAC's Underground Parking Lot offers limited space for handicapped and elderly guests and members of the LAC family. Those with a California-state issued Handicapped Permit or LAC-issued Underground Parking Pass will be allowed entry into this underground parking facility. If you are elderly and require an underground parking pass, please contact Marian Coleman in Campus Services at This email address is being protected from spambots. Saturday & Sunday Night Underground Parking
Reserved handicapped parking is available in the Underground Parking area for use during the Saturday Evening and Sunday "Warehouse" Services. There are 20 reserved handicapped parking spaces available for our church family who have California-issued placards. Additionally, if you are a senior adult who has difficulty walking the distance from the West Parking Lot to the Chapel, you can also park in one of the 75 non-designated open spaces. Once you park, take the elevator to the first floor, exit the Family Life building and turn left for the short walk to the Chapel entrance.
