Learning and fun don't stop in June. Discovery Days runs throughout the summer on a week by week basis. The Discovery Days program incorporates experiential fun and learning in a structured summer program. Every week revolves around a different theme for example Ocean Life, Dinosaurs and Transportation. Art projects using a wide variety of creative materials, stories, water play day, cooking and outdoor games are just a part of the program your children will enjoy each week.
Discovery Days is led by an excellent and enthusiastic staff of qualified instructors and program assistants. Our staff creates an environment which invites curiosity, exploration and discovery. Relaxed enough for summer fun yet stimulating enough to challenge young minds and reinforce year-round learning, Discovery Days is the perfect compliment to the Lake Avenue School academic year. Discovery Days is open to both regular LACS students and children from throughout the community.
