Men's Ministries
Lake Avenue Church is committed to helping men understand and experience what it means to be an empowered Christian man in our post-modern society. The ministry is designed to train and encourage men to actively live out their faith in all circumstances of their lives. Most importantly, it is a ministry that encourages men to travel this journey together as "interdependence" far exceeds "independence." Come join the journey and see what exciting path God will open up to you.

Men, the following suggestion does not, repeat; does NOT let you off the hook when it comes to giving cards, chocolates, flowers or quality time spent with the important people in your life. The suggestions here are simply meant to reinforce any efforts you make to reach out and connect with your wife, family … even your mother-in-law!
Let’s face it, guys, even Christian men are not known for openly expressing our feelings of love, devotion and commitment to those we love the most.
Lake Avenue Men are on the Net in many places. Of course we are at http://men.lakeave.org
But also find us forming our own little social network by searching for Lake Avenue Church Men's Fellowship on Facebook.
Join us there for some "virtual" fellowship – our site as part of this vast experiment in social networking, sometimes in unexpected ways – for instance, ask how I accidentally re-connected Pastor Waybright to an old colleague from Chicago over our shared interests in bioethical issues.
