Lake Avenue wants to help provide the necessary resources to ensure that every marriage - whether it is just beginning or celebrating a 50th anniversary - is a long and fulfilling commitment. Preparation for marriage has been shown to give the best chance of success. Lake provides extensive marriage preparation resources. Involvement in conferences, regular dates and mentoring relationships also enhance and enrich those already married.

If you're married and it's time for a tune-up; or if you're planning to get married; or wondering whether marriage is right for the two of you, invest in your relationship at this weekend event (Friday evening & all day Saturday). With topics that range from couple dynamics and communication to financial harmony and enhancing your sex life. Presenters Marv & Joyce Warman, Cliff & Joyce Penner, and Del Goehner professionals in the fields of pre-marital & marital counseling and finance will help you prepare for and enhance your marriage relationship. Cost options: $40 per married couple includes the Class & Materials. $70 required for pre-marital couple includes Class, Materials, online inventories and premaritial counseling.     Are you planning to get married? Are you wondering whether marriage is right for the two of you? In this 7-week course Marv & Joyce Warman, Cliff & Joyce Penner and Del Goehner will cover topics that include communication, negotiating differences, financial harmony, getting your sex life off to a great start, and you will take the acclaimed Prepare/Enrich Inventory to help you assess and prepare as you begin your life together. There will be a couple of "double sessions" - lunch will be provided. Pre-marital couples must register for the $70 per couple which includes 7 sessions, materials, online inventories and pre-marital counseling.
