Prayer Ministry at LAC desires to model a biblical, healing community. James 5:13-16 says, "Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you've sinned, you'll be forgiven—healed inside and out. Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with."

Leave your written prayer requests in the Prayer Request Boxes in the Chapel on Satruday; in Worship Center lobby Sunday & at the FL 107 Prayer Room entrance or at the LAC Reception desk on the 2nd floor of Hutchins Hall. Our team will cover your request in prayer for one week.

  • Weekend Prayer Support
    Have you lost your job or home? Do you simply need prayer support during these difficult times? Prayer Intercessors are available to pray with you for whatever your need is after the Saturday 5:30 pm worship sevice in the Chapel; and Sunday after the 9 & 11 am worship services in the Worship Center FL 107 (Prayer Room).
  • You can fill out a written "Confidential Request for Prayer" card found in the church pew and place it in the Prayer box in the Chapel or Worship Center or on the 2nd floor of Hutchins Hall at the Reception desk. 
  • OR e-mail your prayer request to Kathryn Thoren at kathrynt@lakeave.org. Your request will be forwarded to our LAC Prayer Teams.
