Warehouse Vision Unpacked
The Warehouse tag-line is our vision in a nutshell. In the spirit of the Christmas season, let's unwrap this:
“Community of Concern on a Discovery of Faith”
Community= We want to be a family that lives all of life together: loving, serving, teaching, correcting one another, growing in Christ with each other and living out reconciliation. Each person will use their uniqueness to contribute to the Warehouse community and our global community.
Concern = We want to become a community that is marked by hospitality and is known for being very welcoming. We will be engaged in serving one another, our city and our world with the gospel and the practical love of Jesus. We will do justice and love mercy as we walk humbly with our God.
Discovery = We will be willing to try new ways to connect with God. We want to be a place of exploration, experimentation, and asking questions as individuals, in small groups and during our corporate time together. We will study and apply the words of God in the Bible to uncover more of our infinite God and what it means to live in Him.
Faith = Christ is the starting and ending point of our faith and will be the focus of our community. Our faith in Him will continually be refined and built upon the Word of God. We will purpose to be the kind of people who will do what-ever it takes to follow Jesus as we pursue him with our whole lives and our whole hearts.

the NEW Warehouse Adult Community meets Sundays, 5 pm in FL 300 (Warehouse) on the Lake Avenue Church.. We are excited to be re-inhabiting a space that God has used in powerful ways throughout Lake’s many decades of ministry.
