Through a variety of gatherings women have opportunities to connect and be real with each other. God desires for each of us as women to be affirmed in our own unique abilities and vulnerabilities. The goal in mind is that we may grow in spiritual maturity and be used by God to make a difference in the world for his glory.

    essentials_150x200Morning Break Women's Fellowship will be offering a six-week study starting June 21 entitled "The Essentials of Effective Prayer" by Kay Arthur. Most of us have struggled at one time or another in our prayer lives, feeling disconnected, unsure and unsuccessful. Many times we struggle not knowing how to pray for ourselves and others and wondering whether God even hears or accepts our prayers. Kay Arthur' book will guide us through the pitfalls and uncertainties that we often have and through scripture and insight, assists us in developing a scriptural ground for building this precious and intimate connection with our Lord.

    We are blessed to have Franci Maharaj, Carrie Gazanian and Eunice Richter who will add their own spiritual experience and wisdom through their teaching time each week. Women of all ages, teens and above are welcome to join us on our summer journey exploring prayer! Summer Session Cost: $15. Some scholarships are available. Childcare to be announced. Pre-registration will be held at the Morning Break table in the church foyer each Sunday morning in June through the 17th of June.     We are a group of women from all ages and many cultures who come to study the word of God, grow in our love and knowledge of Him and pray for each other.  Our Thursday mornings meetings include worship, discussion and prayer. Childcare is available for a small fee, for children, birth through 5. We would love to have you join us and become a part of our sisters in Christ.     James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book.     MOMSnext is inviting all mothers of children in K-8th grade to come to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope in a Christian setting. MOMSnext exists to encourage and develop mothers to be better equipped to influence their school-age children. Meetings will include a delicious breakfast, relevant teaching and wisdom from speakers, and lots of fun and fellowship.
