Hi Family!
We've got an exciting week and Fall season ahead of us! The Fall Calendar will be available soon, with dates for fun events and when Life Groups begin. Here are some updates and friendly reminders, specifically about THIS SUNDAY:
- This Sunday is bittersweet as we say goodbye to Julia being on staff for High School Ministry. Parents, students and families: come through before or during our HS Service (starts at 9:30am in the Warehouse) to encourage, say thank you and give her some love. We are so grateful for her time of leadership on staff - over 5 years! Once again, Julia does plan to continue to function in a volunteer role with her Senior Girls, but will also take time to rest over the next few Sunday's
- Our Middle School family is joining us for worship and the beginning of our program again this Sunday! We'll get started at 9:30am in the Warehouse, as usual :-)
- Join our LAC Family at the Congregation Meeting happening right after service at 11am in the Worship Center - more details HERE
VICTORY WEEK
- We are finishing up Victory Week this week! We plan to swing by John Muir and South Pasadenda HS, but would love to connect with a few families with students who attend there so we can pick a great meet up spot and time this week!! Email Julia or Perry!

DONATE CEREAL TO HIGH SCHOOL
- Over the last year we've enjoyed providing cereal and milk on Sunday mornings - it has been a huge hit with new kids and when your students bring their friends!
- However, we've reached our threshold with budget, and would love your partnership with us in providing cereal and milk on Sundays.
- Here's the simple ask: if each family provides 1 donation of two boxes of cereal and 2 cartons of milk (1 gallon regular milk, 1 carton of almond or oat), that would be greatly appreciated. Cereals that we enjoy are Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Captain Crunch, Frosted Flakes, and anything chocolate-y. - 1-1 virtual appointments for parents or teens struggling
- Teen support group or parent support group or grief group
- Groups will be created as interest builds, and you can find amazing resources for teens, parents of teens, and families on the Counseling Center's website
