Blessings on this Friday before the start of Holy Week. Today, Senior Pastor Mathew P. John brings you a special message. As with all things, there is a season to everything under heaven. As Pastor Mathew launches his ministry, there will be new opportunities and ways of doing things, while other things will stop - at least for now.
Today's Friday update will mark the last Friday Update from the Senior Pastor's office and the pastoral team. This doesn't mean that we will stop sending e-mail updates! It simply means we will be going back to our regular pre-COVID rhythm of sending them about once a month under the banner of our LakeAveNews All-Church newsletter. We will continue to share videos, stories, and announcements of life at Lake taking place each day of the week - on campus and off-campus in homes, at work, and wherever God leads us.

This Palm Sunday, Pastor Mathew continues with part two of “The Temple of God” Teaching Series with a message titled “The Temple of Prayer” as we begin Holy Week. Join us at 9:30 am in the Worship Center and online.
We have some special tools for you to use in your spiritual life this week including a Prayer Night this Sunday at our “The Practice: A House of Prayer” in FL 300 (Warehouse).
We have also provided handouts and web pages with videos and detailed instructions on how to host a Maundy Thursday Last Supper - anytime this next week leading up to Good Friday.
