Uniquely Better Parenting is hosting another webinar!

We, as parents, are constantly having tough conversations with our children as they grow and learn. This past year has made it clear that those conversations need to be grounded in scripture, especially when those conversations are connected to race & justice.

Uniquely Better Parenting is actively building competency and community by encouraging honest dialogue, empathy, and courageous communication. Parenthood in itself does not make individuals smarter and more emotionally sophisticated; it does not automatically equip us with the skills and mental acuity necessary to insulate yourself and your family from danger or causing pain to others. Webinars are intended as a means of discipleship. In this webinar, we intend to connect people to biblical foundations of biblical justice and issues of race in order to unify our parents and students around scripture and practical skills. We hope to address issues and empower our community to be better for the sake of their family and community.

Join us as we listen to the conversation on race and justice with our guest speakers, John Williams and Jeff Liou. There will be a time to listen, a time to ask questions,  and an opportunity to step deeper into what it means to be a uniquely better parent through holding tough conversations with our children.

Register to receive access to the webinar. If you are unable to attend the live interaction, a recording will be made available to the public shortly after.

We look forward to seeing you for this live online webinar.

Guest Speakers

 John Williams    Jeff Liou

John Williams

John has diligently and faithfully worked toward racial reconciliation for almost 30 years. He is passionate about training groups who seek to increase their awareness around biblical multicultural and racial reconciliation and brings years of experience and expertise in facilitating and training to this work.

John uses facilitating dialogue and interactive exercises as a core element in all of his workshops. These workshops are designed to introduce participants to the deceptive and destructive effects of racism in our lives and the body of Christ, and present opportunities to learn and experience the work of racial reconciliation within a biblical framework.

John is a graduate of UC Berkeley and USC Law School. John has been practicing law for over 20 years, has mediated and facilitated sessions for individual and small groups in the area of alternative dispute and conflict resolution, and is an adjunct professor at Azusa Pacific University and Life Pacific College teaching on Race, Reconciliation and Ministry.
