Carol Kenyon has attended Lake Avenue Church with her husband since moving to California 20 years ago. A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, School of Art and Design, she coped with many years of raising young children by freelancing all over Pasadena. Now parents of 6 sons, the Kenyons have navigated (and are still navigating) the Pasadena Unified School District; 2 sons are now in college. Involvement in the public schools has been great groundwork for working with Neighborhood Children's Ministries.
Carol grew up in New York, Illinois and South Africa, moving with her family as her dad attended medical school, interned and then served as a missionary doctor. The gospel was presented by her family as real and life-altering, and, as a child, Carol came to understand her need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
