Chuck Olson has been executive pastor at Lake Avenue Church since 2002. Before coming to Lake, he served at Rolling Hills Covenant Church, Rolling Hills Estates, CA for eighteen years. His calling in life is to develop, challenge, and inspire leaders to lead with their lives – their most important asset. He is constantly pursuing ways to resource leaders to look at the 'interior' issues of life and leadership.
Chuck also serves on the board of Senior Living Ministries, a non-profit organization in Orange County, CA that provides support and resource to senior adults in times of physical and spiritual need.
Chuck is a graduate of Biola University (B.A.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.), and Talbot School of Theology (D.Min.). He has also participated in The Master's Program — an executive coaching program for leadership development.
Chuck has been married to Pattie, his college sweetheart, for 35 years. They have two married sons who have gifted them with two delightful "daughters" and four amazing grandkids. Chuck loves to take long walks with Pattie at the Rose Bowl or the beach, read, golf, workout, eat out with friends, cheer for the USC Trojans, do home improvement projects with his sons, and hang out with his grandkids!
