Pastor of Young Adult Ministries
John and his wife Jessica just celebrated 23 years of marriage. They have three children: Hunter (18), Emma (14) and Sophia who is 10 years old. They came to Pasadena from Knoxville, Tennessee where John spent six years in real estate development and residential contracting. Prior to Knoxville, the Secrests spent 7 years in Budapest, Hungary pastoring a Hungarian congregation and helping to launch a church planting movement. Prior to this John served as the Pastor to Young Adults at the Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church in the Chicago area. John came to faith in Christ during college at the University of Kansas through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ and served a number of years on their staff at the University of Illinois.
