What is MOPS?
MOPS – Mothers of Preschoolers – is for moms with children from birth through kindergarten. It's a powerful network of women who want to experience authentic community, mothering support, personal growth and spiritual hope, all to become the best mom possible.

Smaller groups meet throughout the month for play-dates, deeper discussions, mom's night out and special events.

Cultivating Character
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
Galatians 5:22-23
As mothers, we have a God-given opportunity to shape our children’s characters--their unique moral personalities. But, at the same time, we must not neglect our own. Cultivating character is a lifelong process, and our children learn not only from what we say, but more importantly from who we are. In order to raise children of character, we need to become women of character.
This year, MOPS will focus on how character is formed and nurtured, in ourselves as well as in our children. Come and be equipped to dig deep within your own heart as you plant the seeds of character in your children. You’ll be rewarded with a bountiful harvest of the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Lake Avenue Church MOPS meets twice a month September through May on Tuesday or Wednesday from 9-11:30 am. Register today!
