Nursery Caregiver

Lake Avenue Church is currently seeking a part-time Nursery Caregiver in Early Childhood Ministries. This is a ministry position providing leadership for the nursery program during worship services and special events. Our caregiver team works 8-15 hours per week, predominantly on the weekends, with some hours during weekdays, special events, and some holidays.

Individuals best suited for this position will possess:

  • A deep love for early childhood aged children and a heart for working in our nurseries. 
  • Exemplary life of wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ.
  • Ability to create and maintain a safe environment for children.
  • Ability to promote harmonious working relationships with staff, volunteers, and parents.
  • Knowledge of and experience in early childhood development (birth-5 years) is a plus.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, playing with children, praying with them, facilitating snack time, and general interaction with toddlers and parents.
  • This position is part-time, non-exempt, and does not include benefits.
