Broadcast operator supports audio to the video/online service to the campus wide video monitors & online viewer community. It’s a different style of audio mixing (from Front of House - FOH audio) where you create (mix) the listening area of the worship service. You will have a Hands-On position as you support the pre-service rehearsal for video to hear. You will mix as performers get comfortable from the video support. Work alongside of “Front of House” - FOH audio as they simultaneously use the same microphones on their console. Then, inform FOH audio of any changes that will affect their mixing.

To become familiar with the equipment and process, you’ll work alongside an operator with both a training day plus week to week training. You will build knowledge on the console and its different screens. You will continue the practice of the console. Working at a comfortable pace, you will find yourself operating more the audio console as you feel.

Prior experience is valuable, but we are willing to train you!
