The process of Lights promotes attention by illuminating areas in the worship service. Supports with area reading illuminating, and supports the video cameras with light that the human eye would normally adjust for in the iris. Operator will gain understanding of the console with its layers of light controls, the screen monitor showing the different areas of the controls. You will select lights for the selected areas. Raise & lower lights in a timely rate (not too slow or too fast.) Depending on your interest, we can introduce you to how to place a light into position, assign the light, and link it together with other light on the console.

To become familiar with the equipment and process, you will work alongside an operator. It will be a time with both a training day plus week-to-week training. You will be building knowledge at a pace. You will also be listening to the TD on intercom for cues that lights will support. With time practicing, you will find comfort & operate the lighting console on your own.
